SB Nation BlogPoll College Football Top 25 Rankings
* It looks like Alabama, Oregon and Florida State have distinguished themselves at the front of the pack. A few other teams might still make a run at the top, but for now, this trio should be around for a while.
* The weakness of the Big Ten this season is really shining through. Ohio State is ineligible for postseason play, but appears to be the best B1G team at No. 13. As for the rest, Michigan State checks in at No. 20 while undefeated Northwestern is No. 22.
* Why did Oklahoma and Clemson not drop farther down? Well, I didn't think these teams were all that great to start with so neither was even in the top 10 of my ballot to begin with. They're about exactly where they should be.
* Conference-by-conference tally: SEC (6), Big 12 (5), Pac-12 (4), Ten (3), ACC (2), Big East (1), MWC (1), MAC (1), WAC (1), Independent (1).
